Webpage elements can be classified into two types:

  1. Things that are the same for every page
  2. Things that (can) change on every page

Things that are the same for every page include all the elements controlled in the Styles Dash. The exceptions are (1) the webpage background color (set in Body Widget), and (2) the Main Text card color, opacity, border, and shadow (set in PostBody Widget).

Things that (can) change on every page include:

  1. Frame Amenities that can be removed or relocated by frame options—navbar, Banner, sidebar, and footer.
  2. Things that can be toggled or modified by export options—own-page export, TOC exclusion, image-only as a teaser; main column width, HTML Imagemap width; existence-and-depth of Table of Contents; title, date, Featured Image, incoming Basic Links; child inclusion; granularity options (seamless, blocks, columns, SmartButtons); and numbering.
  3. The Undertitle options for Research notes—date, author, title, and journal.
  4. The written content in the Text Area
  5. The background options for the webpage (color, texture, image)
  6. The background options for the Main Text card (color)
