BoxPress automatically includes a (very) smart set of pager buttons. Your readers will be able to go to the Previous, Next, or Up note—if such notes are set to export.

The Up button is very smart. It will take your reader to the closest note up the hierarchy that contains the current note as a SmartButton. Where your reader will resurface is up to you—just add OWNPAGE export option to the page of your choice.

For example, say PAGE A (depth 0) is compiled (using either seamless COMPILE or BLOCKS) and includes elements at depths 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. A SmartButton from level 5 would normally resurface at PAGE A—at depth 0. But if you like, you can force resurfacing at depth (say) 3 by adding OWNPAGE to the page at that level.

As a bonus, going Up not only takes you upwards, it also scrolls the landing page to the SmartButton of the note whence you came.
