PAGES are granular or “non-compiled” by default—that is, their children export as SmartButtons following the note’s text.

Various of my descendants have Basic (note-to-note dragged) Links. These are shown in the LinkMap above. The fact (but not the details) of incoming and outgoing Basic Links can be seen in Outline View by the tiny arrows on the icons.
