Make an “agent index”
You are working on a big project. You have container notes with lots of descendants. You have quite a few prototypes working for you. Why not make a live index inside of your containers?
With the new Show Original command, you can use agents as type indices.
- Make an agent in a container that collects by prototype but only notes descended from its parent. E.g., all person-notes.
- Place this agent at the top of container and toggle its export to OFF (
) using the ⬍ Export Self stamp.
- Sort the notes in the agent appropriately.
- Then, whenever you need to find that person (or book, event, etc.) just select it inside your “index agent” and hit ⌘R (Edit > Show Original) to reveal it inside its original context.
