Using Tinderbox

  1. In Tinderbox, pick your map container in Map View and hit ⇧⌘C to Copy View As Image and then export from Preview. Place the jpg inside the new IMAGEMAPS folder.
  2. Make your target note—the one you want to export with the imagemap. Type the name of the export folder/file in the $bpMapJPG key attribute and an (optional) title in the $bpMapTitle key attribute.
  3. To maximize width, add WIDE to your $blogExpOpt.
  4. Type the name of the map container in the $bpMapView key attribute and you’re done!

By default, clicking on a clickable area will load the target URL. To have clicks load text into the right-hand sidebar, set the target note’s prototype to fillmap_note.
