Massive housecleaning

Total revision of default color scheme.

Removal of problematic default color names.

Result: When you paste BP-native notes elsewhere, their colors remain intact.

Impoved Import/Export: pasting preserves properties

Massive, painstaking transparency overhaul. As much as possible, attributes inherit from the default system defaults, as freshly copied from TB 8.7.1.

All content notes still inherit from normal_note—true. But normal_note now uses the same color names as a freshly made (unprototyped) note in a new TBX.

One BP default that cannot be changed: the main Map View font size, set in Document Settings (CMD-8). This is necessary for calculating exported font sizes from the WYSIWYG Styles Dash.

Result: Pasting a fresh, default-filled note into BP leads to preservation where it matters (appearance) but also to automatic adoption of BP defaults where it’s good (background)—and pasting back out reverts them to those of the landing site.

Improved Import: disabled automatic prototyping

The automatic prototyping of unprototyped notes by $OnAdd has been disabled.

  1. All containers for map making enforce no automatic prototyping.
  2. All your content prototypes can enforce prototyping of new underlings in easy BoxPress fashion: just set a value from the new $AutoProto popup. You can (1) do nothing, (2) apply normal_note, or (3) apply the prototype of the destination container.
